My PSP 1003 on 5.50 GenD is it possible to use PSP to remote play on PS3 running 5.50gend as I keep getting MSG update required. Can anyone help

Yes you can!

-To start register your psp to your ps3
-After that go on your psp:
Network -> Remote PLay ->Connect via Private Network
(via internet don't work with costum firmware)
